There are two basic types of roof coatings: acrylic and silicone. We recommend acrylic roof coatings for basic preventative maintenance, and silicone roof coatings for more problematic roofs that are showing signs of issues.

SPF (Spray Polyurethane Foam) Spray Foam Roof Systems are a great option for flat roofs that are experiencing chronic leaks or are beyond their life expectancy. SPF is a closed cell foam that is typically applied 1 inch thick, and then coated with an acrylic coating to protect it from the sun. As the foam cures, it solidifies to form a durable, seamless, lightweight, and waterproof membrane. SPF provides the highest R-value (the measure of thermal resistance) of any residential roofing material and is great for Arizona homes.
